Aoi Eir will release her debut single “MEMORIA” on October 19th and it will come in three editions, standard, limited, and anime (only one pressing). It will also be featured as the ending theme for upcoming anime “Fate/Zero”, the highly anticipated prequel to “Fate/Stay Night”, set to begin airing on October 1st.
Aoi Eir is a bit of an unknown though she gave a hint of her vocal talents through the song “Avalon Blue”, found on volume 5 of “Lisuani!” (Listen Anime!) a Sony Music magazine for its upcoming artists. More on Aoi Eir and CD release after jump
From the bio at Aoi Eir’s official website she says, “I’ve loved to sing from an early age and in high school I formed a band and was lead singer. After high school, even though I temporarily stopped my music career it never left my heart.”
Aoi Eir is bit incognito in images and in the music video, Eir only shows the upper part of her face – blog photos that might show more are adorned with butterflies or flowers to cover the lower part of her face. The music video also has Eir covering or obscuring her face…odd.
