angela recently updated the release information for their new single “KINGS” which is featured as the opening theme for Fall anime K. Cover jackets and full track list are revealed. The single is offered in two editions, the Limited comes with bonus Blu-ray of the music video for the title song. “KINGS” is scheduled to be in stores October 24th – read on for updated release details…

angela and anime K earlier this month released a special promotional Blu-ray and CD that featured trailer videos, cast interviews, animation stills, and two angela songs. More details on this release are available here. The anime’s ending theme song “Tsumetai Hiya, Hitori” by Mikako Komatsu is written and produced by angela.
Anime K is an original anime from studio GoHands (Mardock Scramble) and GoRA writers collective that follows the story of Yashiro “Shiro” Isana who attends Ashinaka High School which is build on an island. The school has 7 “Kings” with psychic powers and through no fault of his own Shiro finds himself in the middle of a war between the Kings. The project will also spin-off a manga beginning in November and novel trilogy written by GoRA.
The anime began airing October 4th in MBS TV in Japan and outside of Japan – Southeast Asia on Animax Asia, UK and Ireland at Anime On Demand, and at hulu.com / Viz Media for USA.
angela’s next live appearance will be October 20th at DENGEKI MUSIC LIVE!! BATTLE STAGE to commemorate the 20th anniversary of ASCII Media Works. Joining angela will be artists Eir Aoi, LiSA, Minori Chihara, and more. Additional details at the event website (link at bottom).
