Visual Kei band Antic Café (AN CAFÉ) is back with a new mini-album “amazing blue” which is set to hit stores on August 8th. Its been over 2 years since the group took a break from activities after their 2010 live event at Nippon Budokan. This new mini-album is set to come in two editions and the Limited edition’s DVD includes music video and additional bonus footage. More details follow.
The members of Antic Café have pursued other projects since taking a break from the band. Drummer Teruki worked with band Dog in the Parallel World Orchestra on several singles. Visual Kei band Lc5 formed and is lead by Miku of Antic Café. They made their debut on September 15th 2010 and released their first album March 28th 2012. Kanon Wakeshima and Kanon (bass) from Antic Café have collaborated on a pair of single releases as Kanon X Kanon – “Calendula Requiem” (2010) and “Koi no Dotei” (2011) which were both featured as anime theme songs.
Their new mini-album “amazing blue” comes in two editions:
– Limited with bonus DVD that includes music video and off-shoot footage for main track plus bonus footage. First press version adds photo and application for special in-store launch events (details below).
– Regular CD-only. First Press version adds photo and application for special launch events.
Antic Café will hold special launch events by lottery application included in the First Press versions of the release. Application period is August 8th – 31st and the event will be held September 16th at a location to be announced to lottery winners. The lottery prizes include:
– Prize A: 200 people event handshake & talk (12:00pm)
– Prize B: 200 people autograph session (3:00pm)
– Prize C: 200 people photo session (6:00pm)
