You Kikkawa is preparing to release a new album “vocalist?” where she covers popular idol songs from the 80’s, 90’s, and 2000’s. The album has 12 tracks and each is a collaboration with different vocaloid producers such as Darvish P, Hachioji P, KEI and more. You Kikkawa has released two of these covers as coupling songs on her recent singles ,”Darling to Madonna” with coupling track “Watashi ga Obasan ni Nattemo” and “Koko Kara Hajimarunda!” with coupling track “17-Sai”.
You Kikkawa made a rare (her first?) appearance in the USA at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2012 on September 28th-30th. She gave interviews all 3 days and joined artists Suzuko Mimori, Eyeshine, and heidi for the Saturday evening concerts.
