Rock group GRANRODEO has announced their 19th single “Henai no Rondo” (偏愛の輪舞曲) which will be featured as the opening theme for Spring 2013 TV anime series Karneval. Their new single comes on two editions and is scheduled to be in stores April 17th 2013. Read on for more details and preview trailer for the anime…

GRANRODEO consists of singer/voice actor KISHOW (Taniyama Kisho) and guitarist e-ZUKA (Iizuka Masaaki). Many of their single releases have tie-ins with anime or games. Their 16th single “Can Do” was featured as the first opening theme for anime Kuroko’s Basketball and their 17th single “RIMFIRE” (release details) is currently featured as the second opening theme for anime Kuroko’s Basketball.
GRANRODEO most recently release single “DARK SHAME” – featured as the opening theme for anime CODE:BREAKER. The single hit stores November 7th – more details and preview video in earlier report. GRANRODEO also released their 5th album “CRACK STAR FLASH” on October 10th (more details). Fans showed their support and pushed the album to the 3rd spot on the Oricon weekly charts!
The pair has also announced they will release a greatest hits 2CD album which will include a DVD of their concert held in November 2012 at Yokohama Blitz. The album is scheduled to hit stores March 6th 2013 – more details.
Anime Karneval is adapted from manga by Touya Mikanagi and follows the story of innocent country boy Nai who is searching for a friend and his only clue an I.D bracelet from the organization named "Circus", the country’s defense agency. Nai has entered into the sordid and cutthroat realm of the city and is framed for a murder.
A thief with less than pure motives, Gareki bails him out but has his sights set firmly on the bracelet. "Circus" in turn has also shifted its attention to the duo as well… The anime begins airing April 2013.
Single “Henai no Rondo” is available on two editions,
– Limited with DVD that includes music video for title song.
– Regular CD-only.
