Kana Hanazawa as character Mei Mei is getting ready to release single “Bamboo Rendez-Vous” which is featured as an ending theme for anime Polar Bear Café (Shirokuma Café). Kana Hanazawa voices the character Mei Mei (Panda’s sister) in the ongoing comedy anime. Voice actress and singer Kana Hanazawa (23) just released her first full-length album “claire” which includes her four solo singles, new songs, and more for a total of 14 tracks. The album’s one CD-only edition hit stores February 20th 2013 and fans propelled it to #6 on the Oricon weekly charts.
Included on the album was Kana Hanazawa’s 4th solo single “Silent Snow” that released on January 16th 2013 – more details on the single are reported here.
Kana Hanazawa has another busy season voicing characters in several continuing anime such as Zetsuen no Tempest: The Civilization Blaster (Blast of Tempest), Polar Bear Café, From the New World, and Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic.
Anime Polar Bear Café (Shirokuma Café) is adapted from comedy manga by Aloha Higa that follows the daily story of a café run by a polar bear and frequented by pandas, penguins, grizzly bears, other animals, and humans. The anime began airing April 2012 and is scheduled to end this spring 2013 after a run of approximately 50 episodes.

New single “Bamboo Rendez-Vous” aired as the anime’s 10th ending theme for episodes 39 – 42. The single comes on two editions,
