Mami Kawada is getting ready to release her 13th single “FIXED STAR” with tie-in as the theme song for anime movie Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion). The coupling track “Intersection” has tie-in with new PSP Vita game “Meikyu Cross-Blood Infinity”. Single “FIXED STAR” comes on one regular edition and hit stores February 20th 2013 – read on for release details and preview videos.
Mami Kawada has provided a number of songs for the Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) anime franchise. For the first season (2008) her singles “PSI-missing” and “masterpiece” were featured as opening theme songs. In season two (2010) she provided both opening theme songs again with singles “No buts!” and “See visionS”.
Mami Kawada is also about to release a greatest hits album “BEST -BIRTH-“ on February 13th 2013. The album will include single “FIXED STAR” along with 11 other singles, new songs, plus more for 16 planned tracks. More details on the album are here.
The new single’s coupling track “Intersection” is featured in upcoming Index PSP Vita game “Meikyu Cross-Blood Infinity”. The RPG games releases in Japan on April 25th.

Anime movie Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion) is an all new story with main characters Touma and Index. Just before the completion of the Academy City space elevator "Endymion" Touma and Index encounter Arisa who is key to a brewing war between the sides of Magic and Science.
Original novel author Kamachi Kazuma wrote the all new story (scripted by Yoshino Hiroyuki) and provided several dozen pages that provide details for Academy City, the Magic side, character and additional movie story details. Novel illustrator Haimura Kiyotaka drew several new characters for the movie. The movie is set to premier in Japan on February 23rd 2013.
