NEGOTO has announced their 8th single “Synchromanica” (シンクロマニカ) with tie-in as the opening theme for upcoming anime Galilei Donna. Band NEGOTO released their second album “5” (2013.02.06) as the final part of their 4-month consecutive release project that began November 2012. The NEGOTO3 Project celebrated the group starting serious “nonsense” (negoto) as the members finished up their college and university educations and transitioned to a full-time band. They originally formed in 2006 when members were in their first year of high school.
Original anime Galilei Donna follows the story of three of Italian astronomer Galileo Galilei’s female descendants who uncover a mysterious object left behind by their great ancestor. As they try to learn more about the object they land on international wanted lists and must escape from their pursuers while uncovering the mystery.
Anime Galilei Donna (Galilei Donna – Storia di tre sorelle a caccia di un mistero) is produced by A-1 Pictures for the Fuji TV Noitamina broadcast block. The anime begins airing in Japan in early October 2013. No announcement yet if it will be available outside of Japan.
The anime’s ending theme “Innocent” is provided by group earthmind.
