DiVA revealed more details for their last single DISCOVERY – full track list, jacket covers, and more unveiled. All members re-unite for the AKB48 unit’s 4th and final single including: Miyazawa Sae (SNH48/SKE48), Umeda Ayaka (NMB48), Akimoto Sayaka (graduated), Masuda Yuka (graduated). DiVA released their 3rd single Lost The Way two and a half years ago on March 21st 2012 (more details). For that six dance/support members (non-AKB48) were added (Kasuya Satoko, Futami Yuki, Furukawa Atsuko, Fukuno Ramu, Inoue Yuina, and Yamagami Ayaka). They all return for the final single.
The unit last relased a music video cover of 1990’s hit song WOW WAR TONIGHT ~ Tokiniha Okoseyo Movement ~ for the UULA mobile video service back on March 13th 2014. The music video includes all members except Masuda Yuka who had left AKB48 under some controversy December 2012. The song and music video are part this final single.
The group announced their official break-up and final releases August 14th 2014. The main members gathered for the first dance practice in some time,
DiVA’s final single DISCOVERY comes on three Limited editions plus a mu-mo exclusive Theater edition. The track lists differ on all editions. Limited First Press versions include one half special live event ticket (second half included with planned album).
Theater edition includes handshake participation ticket and is only available via lottery sales at special mu-mo site during selected dates periods (link at bottom). Handshake event is planned for November 30th 2014 1:00pm – 8:00pm (4 sessions) at Makuhari Messe.
