Kalafina announced new single One Light with tie-up as the second ending theme for anime The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki, アルスラーン戦記). Their 18th single begins as the new theme song in July. Single One Light comes on five editions scheduled for release on August 12th 2015. More details follow.

Most recently vocal group Kalafina released single ring your bell on May 13th 2015. Their 17th single continues their connection with anime Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works as its season 2 ending theme. The popular group, produced by Yuki Kajiura, provided the ending theme “believe“ (2014.11.19) for season one new adaption of anime Fate/stay night.
Anime The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki, アルスラーン戦記) adapted from manga by Arakawa Hiromu (orig. novels by Tanaka Yoshiki), follows Arslan a young and curious prince of Pars who, despite his best efforts, doesn’t seem to have what it takes to be a proper king like his father. The prosperous kingdom of Pars currently ruled by the undefeated and fearsome King Andragoras. But everything changes at the age of 14, Arslan thrust into his first battle sees his father defeated and loses everything as war brings the demise of the once glorious kingdom. Arslan must now embark on a journey to reclaim his fallen kingdom.
The anime features Kobayashi Yuuske (Takamiya Witch Craft Works) as Arslan and Maaya Sakamoto in supporting role of Falangies. It airs starting April 5th 2015 Sundays 5:00pm (JST) on MBS TV and TBS TV in Japan. Outside of Japan Funimation.com simulcasts for North America.
The anime’s second opening theme provided by NICO Touches the Walls with single Uzu to Uzu (渦と渦) – details coming.
Single One Light comes on 5 editions (details subject to change). Limited A & B include application postcard. Limited Pressing has anime themed illustrated jacket and available through November 13th 2015. First Press versions of the Limited Pressing and Regular editions add the application postcard. Special analog vinyl version has very limited quantities and includes the application postcard. Details on the awards to be announced.
