The Mirai Suenaga character clock app is now available for free from the iTunes Japan store. The app developed by Cybernoids and Danny Choo uses a Live2D technology give a fun 3D-affect to the app’s display on the iPhone/iPad.

Voice actresses (seiyuu) featured with the app are among the current best. A bit of a K-ON! reunion as 5 of the 6 are Ali Toyosaki (Yui), Satomi Sato (Ritsu), Ayana Taketatsu (Azuna), Madoka Yonezawa (Ui) and Yoko Hikasa (Mio). The 6th, Maaya Uchida, is a new comer who I’m sure we’ll see more of in the future.

Microsoft’s Windows Azure much like Amazon’s AWS provides virtual servers with configurable processing power, storage, networking and content delivery capabilities which can be adjusted on-demand to scale during times of high and low demand. Microsoft’s Azure also provides database services via SQL Azure services giving developers SQL Server databases in the cloud without the need to setup and configure a virtual server and license and install MS SQL Server.

Samsung’s new “Central Station Monitor” – C23A750X – is a full HD 23” monitor that does not require any cable in order to be used with your PC. A thumb-sized USB transmitter (held by model in photo) connects your laptop or other computer to the C23A750X monitor. The technology is wirelessly transmitting a USB connection, so its possible with the monitor’s built-in USB hub to send the video signal as well as share data and network connections with other connected devices.
