The Korean groups 2PM and 2AM are joining forces – 2PM+2AM – for a new Japanese single “Oneday” and the groups will be featured in a new documentary movie “Beyond the ONEDAY ~Story of 2PM&2AM~”. The single will come in 12 editions with 10 being special solo member jacket cover editions and all are set for release July 4th. The documentary film will premier on June 30th at TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi and other theaters across Japan. Topping the weekly singles charts is the 32nd single from Kinki Kids, “Kawatta Katachi no Ishi” with over 123,000 sold. Its also the 32nd consecutive #1 on the weekly charts from this prolific and successful duo of Domoto Koichi and Domoto Tsyuoshi. Congradulations!
Second spot goes to one of our favorites Nana Mizuki and her single “Synchrogazer” with more than 51,000 sold. The single is featured as the opening theme for anime “Symphogear”. Third spot on the charts sees 2AM and their Japanese debut single “Never let you go – Shindemo Hanasanai”.

Singles week chart preview for January 9th – 15th 2012
The newest single from Kinki Kids, “Kawatta Katachi no Ishi” will easily top the singles charts based on the Oricon daily numbers with more than 117,000 sold. The single is number 32 from the duo of Domoto Koichi and Domoto Tsyuoshi and also makes their 32nd consecutive #1 on the weekly charts!
Second spot should go to one of our favorites Nana Mizuki and her single “Synchrogazer” with more than 48,000 sold. The single is featured as the opening theme for anime “Symphogear”.
Third spot on the charts should go to 2AM and their Japanese debut single “Never let you go – Shindemo Hanasanai”. Remaining top 6 should be fought out between D☆Date, ViViD, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.

Korean boy idol group 2AM willl release their Japanese debut single, “Never let you go ~Shinde mo Hanasanai~”, on January 11th. This will be the Japanese version of their Korean hit song, “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die.”
2AM is the brother group to 2PM and the 4 members have said they’ve been studying Japanese for one to two hours everyday so the could perform do some MC in Japanese. According to the members, the hardest part about the Japanese language is the pronunciation of ‘tsu’ and ’so’. Each member expressed their excitement for the new single and efforts to be successful in Japan.
Additionally, 2AM announced a new concert tour, titled “2AM 1st JAPAN TOUR ‘Never let you go’“, starting January 24th. The boys will perform at upscale halls including Aichi Geijitsu Gekijou, Tokyo Bunkamura Orchard Hall, and Osaka Umeda Geijitsu Gekijou. More info after the jump
