In the #6 spot is unit EGOIST (ryo producing, chelly vocals) with their 4th single “All Alone With You” featured as the second ending theme for anime PSYCHO-PASS.

On the album charts its Korean power duo Tohoshinki (TVXQ) with their new Japanese album “TIME” selling over 243,000 copies (more details). In the #3 spot is Acid Black Cherry (yazu) who continues the winter season trend of cover albums with “Recreation 3”. Landing in the #9 spot is GRANRODEO with their greatest hits album “Greatest Hits ~ GIFT REGISTRY ~”.

Acid Black Cherry (yasu) has announced his third cover album “Recreation 3”. The album includes 13 tracks sung with heart and passion by yasu and featuring popular songs from 1990’s rock bands SIAM SHADE and WANDS, singer/song writer Kobayashi Akiko (1985), and more. Topping the singles charts this week is Sashihara Rino with her 2nd solo release “Ikujinashi Masquerade” selling over 68,000 copies. Sashihara Rino is now a member of AKB48 sister group HTK48 after she was moved from AKB48 in June due to a mild scandal involving photos released by a former boyfriend. Her popularity is still strong with fans who gave her a #1 single and she is one of the 16 Senbatsu members performing on AKB48’s upcoming 28th single “UZA”.

Landing in the second spot is KARA and their new Japanese single “Electric Boy” selling a good 57,000 copies. And just out of the top 10 in the 11th spot is Haruka Tomatsu and her single “Q&A Recital!” featured as the opening theme for anime My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun).

The album charts are dominated by KANJANI8 and their best hits album “8EST” selling a strong 298,000 copies. The album which continues their releases commemorating their 8th anniversary, comes on two CDs and includes their 19 singles through “ER” plus additional tracks including new song “Crouton”.

In the 3rd spot is popular voice actress and singer Tamura Yukari with her second compilation album “Everlasting Gift” selling over 27,000 copies. And the 5th spot is occupied by band Acid Black Cherry with their live concert album “Acid Black Cherry TOUR 2012” – they also simultaneously released a DVD with the same performances (#2 over on the DVD/Blu-ray charts).

The DVD captures their performance at the final tour stop – the famous Nippon Budokan on July 20th. The release includes a second DVD with documentary footage of the concert tour that begin in May and spanned 22 performances, ending with two performances at the Budokan. Their press release also hints of a Blu-ray version available towards the end of the year with release details forth coming. Kis-My-Ft2 continues their streak with another solid #1 with their third single “SHE! HER! HER!” (release details) that easily tops the weekly Oricon charts with over 192,000 sold. In the number two spot and also making a strong showing is those Korean girls of KARA and their double A-single “Speed Up / Girls Power” (release details) selling 99,000+ copies.

The AKB48 sub-unit DiVA lands in the number three spot with “Lost the way” (release details) and pop diva Namie Amuro is number four with her double A-single “Go Round / YEAH-OH” (release details).

Over on the album charts rock band Acid Black Cherry’s first #1 with album “2012” (release details) topping the weekly charts with over 117,000. Not too far back in the second spot is diva queen Ayumi Hamasaki and her new album “Party Queen” (release details) selling strong with over 97,000 sold.

Making the charts in the number 9 spot is May’n with her 3rd album “HEAT” (release details) – she is well known for providing many anime tie-in songs. Included on this album is “Brain Driver” opening theme for “Phi-Brain – Puzzle of God” and “Scarlet Ballet" opening theme for “Aria the Scarlet Ammo
