Ai has just released the full length (4:45) music video for “Utsukushikimono” via her official Youtube channel. The song featured as ending theme and video feature new footage from the upcoming Berserk film, “Berserk Ōgon Jidai-Hen I: Haō no Tamago” (Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler). The new Berserk film “Berserk Ōgon Jidai-Hen I: Haō no Tamago” (Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler) is nearing its theatrical launch in Japan on February 4th and a 6-minute digest trailer video with new footage is posted to Youtube. The video introduces the main characters and gives a plot overview plus provides parts of the theme song by Hirasawa Susumu. Ai first album in over two years, “INDEPENDENT” and her first since transferring to the EMI record label. The album should be popular, besides the title track “INDEPENDENT WOMEN”, it includes 4 tie-up songs. The Berserk film “Berserk Ōgon Jidai-Hen I: Haō no Tamago” (Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler) has released a new longer trailer on their official Youtube channel. It features the ending theme song "Utsukushikumono" by the Japanese-American singer Ai.
This anime movie is part 1 of the 3 part re-telling of Golden Age arc of Kentaro Miura’s Berserk manga and it will open in Japan on February 4.

Singer Ai’s new song “Utsukushikumono” will be used as the ending theme for Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler which is part 1 of the upcoming 3-part film series adaption of Berserk. To prepare for writing the new song Ai meet fir the film producers and read the Berserk manga volumes covered in this part of the film adaption. The final result is said to be a powerful and moving song well matched to the Berserk film.
Ai was born in Los Angeles and has been releasing R&B singles and albums since 2000. Her “BEST AI” album (2009) topped the weekly Oricon album charts. This is her second movie theme as she provided the ending theme for 2005 film in the Crayon Shiin-chan franchise. She will perform at the Michael Jackson Tribute Live concerts with the Jackson family on December 13th and 14th.
Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler opens in theaters February 4th 2012.

The Cinema Topics Online website revealed more cast information for Berserk Ōgon Jidai-Hen I: Haō no Tamago (Berserk Golden Age Arc I: Egg of the Supreme Ruler), which will be the first of three film in the new adaption of Kentaro Miura’s Berserk (1990) manga. Check out the cast information and be sure to watch the trailer below,

- Minako Kotobuki as Rickert
- Takahiro Fujiwara as Pippin
- Yoshirou Matsumoto as Corkus
- Kazuki Yao as Gaston
- Aki Toyosaki as Charlotte

The three main cast members:
- Hiroaki Iwanaga as Guts
- Takahiro Sakurai as Griffith

None of the film’s cast is reprising a roll from the earlier Berserk 26-episode anime (1997).
This first Berserk film will open in Japan in January, and the next two films are planned to follow soon afterwards but nothing officially announced. These three films will cover the Golden Age story arc (vol. 3-13)of the manga the producers hope to eventually adapt the entire story.
