Band NEGOTO has announced their second album “5” as the last of their 4-month consecutive release project. The album includes five singles, new songs, and more for 13 total tracks. The consecutive release project and release of the new album celebrates the college graduation of the band members of NEGOTO and marks the start of their efforts as a serious band with many live events in Japan and Korea scheduled for this year. NEGOTO has announced their 6th single “Tashikana Uta” – the third release of their 4-month consecutive release project. The new single, described as the rock band’s first ballad, has a tie-up as ending theme for Fuji TV’s talk show Uchikuru!? (Come to my House!?) hosted by Shoko Nakagawa. Song “Lightdenity” has tie-in as commercial message theme song for Nasufuru Tenshoku nurse job recruitment. Topping the single charts is rock group B’z with “GO FOR IT, BABY ~ Kioku no Sanmyaku ~” – the song is featured as CM theme for pepsi NEX and sold over 143,000 copies. The second spot goes to duo from from SUPER JUNIOR – Donghae & Eunhyuk and their dance single “Oppa, Oppa” selling over 68,000 copies (release details). Rounding out the top 10 is the new single from Negoto – “sharp #” – featured as opening theme to anime Mobile Suit Gundam AGE – (release details).
On the album charts solo artist Yusuke tops with his album “Ano..Namida ga Arukara Ai ga Arundesukedo” selling over 38,000 (release details). Last week #1 drops one spot into second Kis-My-Ft2 with their first album release “Kis-My-1st” selling another 22,000 (release details).
