On top the singles charts this week is boy group Kis-My-Ft2 with their 6th single “My Resistance – Tashikana mono / Unmei Girl”. Title song “My Resistance – Tashikana mono” has tie-up as theme for TV series “Nobunaga no Chef” that stars member Tamamori Yuta. The single sold over 316,000 copies and continues the group’s prefect streak of #1 singles.

In the #4 spot is Korean group U-KISS with their 6th Japanese single “ALONE” selling over 27,000 copies.

Topping the album charts is Korean group 2PM with album “LEGEND of 2PM” with over 50,000 copies sold. Dropping into the #2 spot is last weeks #1 Ayumi Hamasaki with her 14th album “LOVE again”.

Out of the top 10 in the #15 spot is Mami Kawada with her compilation album “BEST -BIRTH-”.

Korean group U-KISS has added some details for their 6th Japanese single “ALONE” -  track list is updated and more bonuses announced. One bonus is for a special off-shoot DVD with the members playing Jenga where each piece removed corresponds to a question they must answer. A preview video of the bonus has also been revealed. Toping the single charts is NEWS with their double-A side single “WORLD QUEST / Pokopon Pekorya” both songs have tie-ins which helped push its sales over 130,000 copies. Last week’s #1 the11th 1+million selling single from AKB48, “Eien Pressure” drops into #2. Korean boy group SHINee hits #3 with “1000 Nen, Zutto Soba ni Ite…” and in the #5 spot is another Korean group U-KISS with “Distance…”

Just out of the top 10 at #11 is idol group 9nine with single “White Wishes” featured as the ending theme for anime My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun) – selling over 12,000 copies.

Again topping the album charts is EXILE with “Best Hits Love Side / Soul Side” compilation album selling another 98,000 copies. Just back in #2 spot is singer/voice actress Nana Mizuki with her 9th album “ROCKBOUND NEIGHBORS” selling over 96,000 copies. In the #3 spot is Korean Kim Hyun Joong with his first Japanese album “unlimited” and landing in #5 spot is rock band flumpool with their 3rd album “experience”.

The weekly Oricon singles charts are topped by the boys of KANJANI8 with their 20th single “Aoppana” selling over 208,000 copies. The single is featured as theme song for TV drama “Boys on the Run” that also stars group member Maruyama. The second spot goes to the combined EXILE and J Soul Brothers as EXILE TRIBE with their single “24karats TRIBE OF GOLD” selling over 154,000 copies.

YUI and her first single of 2012 “fight” finds its way into the 5th spot on the charts. The song was written to be part of the 79th annual Junior High School Chorus contest.

Rock band abingdon boys school made their way onto the charts in the 8th spot with their first single in over 2 years “WE aRE”.

The album charts are topped by duo Kobukuro and their compilation album “All Singles BEST 2” with over 395,000 copies sold. Second spot goes to Kana Nishino with her 4th album “Love Place” selling over 167,000 copies. Rounding out the top 3 is popular Korean girl group KARA with their album “Collection” sell over 47,000 copies.
