While Roan and a group of Archers attempt to hold off the monsters, Takius’s master makes his presence known, and Yufa prepares herself for challenges that could earn her the title of “Priest.”

Guided by the words of an enemy-turned-ally, Roan and his band of adventurers travel to the ancient city of Payon in an attempt to stop a outbreak of violent and destructive monsters.

Roan returns from his solo mission with new skills and the rank of a fully-ordained Crusader. Without hesitation, he steps into the fray to save Yufa from a brutal onslaught.

The clock tower’s bell has mysteriously begun to ring, summoning a multitude of lethal monsters. Silencing the bell will stem the advancing horde, but in Roan’s absence, who will accept the challenge?

When a chance encounter with a ruthless enemy leaves Yufa’s eyes glowing like molten steel, Roan must join forces with adversaries from his past to protect his travelling companion.

Weakened by their battle with Osiris, the group heads toward the Assassin’s guild. Meanwhile, Yufa struggles with her brother’s death, and Takius tries to decipher new information regarding Zephyr.

Rai, a member of the Thief’s Guild, is tricked into opening the tomb of King Osiris, thus unleashing a horde of ghastly monsters that only Roan and his adventurers stand a chance at stopping.

Roan and his friends finally reach the city of Morroc, home of the infamous Thief’s Guild. When the daughter of the Guild’s leader is caught stealing from Roan and Yufa, an evil plot is revealed.

Young swordsman Roan and his comrade Yufa, an acolyte, find themselves face to face with a spreading darkness after a meeting with the blindfolded mage known as Takius.

A collection of four short stories chronicles the passing of summer, as the girls grow pumpkins for Halloween. A hot night spells trouble sleeping. Meme has a short-term memory misadventure. Tsugumi teaches Anya about baseball. The girls each write home.

Dr. Stein is able to save Eternal Feather's life, and teases our heroines as she recovers. Tsugumi and Meme share some Japanese ways to keep cool in the summer. Tsugumi laments not being able to defend her meister, which is why she hasn’t chosen one.

Clay's investigation into the Traitors narrows down Shaula Gorgon as a likely suspect. The NOT class girls have a study session at Deathbucks. Later, the girls attend the Death Bazaar free market, where Eternal Feather's unlucky streak turns grim.

Liz and Patty Thompson take jobs as waitresses at Deathbucks, and manage to scare off much of the clientele, including Meme and Anya. However, Tsugumi sees something in them, and fights to keep going to the café, determined to become more like them.

After dreaming about Kim, Jacqueline is bothered by feelings of attraction for her. Kim leads the girls in a pool-cleaning job, and after she takes most of the pay, they help Jacqueline try to win Kim over, while learning about her mysterious background.

After a nightmare, Tsugumi wonders why the meisters choose to come to DWMA. She spends some time talking to Akane, who asks her to be his girlfriend, only to say he was joking. The class takes their physical fitness exams, where both Meme and Anya excel.

Eternal Feather reveals more about Kim's history, as well as the origin of her name. A new threat, known as "Traitor," menaces the students of DWMA, and Sid sends Clay and Akane to scare them off. Anya feels left out when she misses her turn with Tsugumi.

Fellow student Eternal Feather shows Tsugumi, Meme and Anya around the girls' dorm, and they meet some of the residents there. By the next morning, all three had lost their allowance, and thus had to take part-time jobs at a café named "Deathbucks."

With the antidote in hand, Tsugumi and Anya fight desperately to release Meme from Shaula's mind control. The fighting spreads throughout town, until it even reaches the girls' dorm. Tsugumi comes to a decision that will affect all three of their lives.

Anya, under escort by Clay and Akane, passes the Battle Festival grounds, where Shaula's followers attack! Tsugumi also flees house arrest to try to meet up with Anya, so together they can save Meme. Dr. Stein works on an antidote to Shaula's poison.

Tsugumi is devastated by news of her pet dog's death. She lashes out at Meme, who later that night sleepwalks to DWMA. Meme is suspected of being controlled by Shaula, and placed in DWMA custody. When Anya and Tsugumi visit, things soon get out of hand!
