Since Gin-san was the White Yaksha, a major player in the Joi war, Hijikata orders a stakeout on Odd Jobs in order to find out if he's still connected to the Joi rebels. This stakeout mission lands at the feet of Inspector Yamazaki Sagaru.

The cause of the time freeze... was just a dead battery?! The Odd Jobs realize that the Universal Clock running out of battery was the reason the world's time came to a stop. They try to replace the battery, but it's apparently a special make not available on Earth.

Detective Chiba is investigating a strange case that took place three months earlier. Magazine editor Nakatsu was suffocated to death and pressed face-first into a patch of concrete on Haido High School grounds. The prime suspect is UFO fanatic Kuchiki who was lying next to the body in the concrete. Kuchiki denies killing Nakatsu and testifies that an alien flew down in a UFO and murdered Nakatsu while floating mid-air, and a security camera captured a creepy UFO-like shadow...

A mysterious duo is purchasing all the rice cookers in town, messing with the balance of the retail market. The culprit is someone Arisa didn't expect to see.

Hajime, Jyugo, Uno, and Nico head to Building 5 to find out about Rock and Yamato. Jyugo and the others fall into a trap and end up in level 1 underground cell. There, they find the captured Upa and Liang. Meanwhile, Hajime is captured by Inori and is escorted to the underground cell where Samon, covered in injuries, is restrained. Samon reveals who’s behind the incident. It is no other than Enki Gokuu, the former Building 5 supervisor who became a criminal causing havoc in Nanba Prison in the past. He is also Samon’s brother.
