Still reeling from the fact that he may have a connection to Duskmon, Kouji and Takuya go in search of answers. The rest of the group stumbles upon a Trailmon Graveyard where an old Trailmon says he can tell them all about the Rose Star!

Beowolfmon and Duskmon continue their battle when Cherubimon appears before them! Cherubimon takes advantage of Duskmon's confusion and forces him to slide evolve into the Beast Spirit of Darkness - Velgrmon! When the voice guiding the children speaks out, what will Kouji and Velgrmon learn?

With more areas of Sephirothmon cleared, Kouji is pushed into a matchup with Duskmon, who begins to pry at Kouji's memories of his family. Just as Duskmon is about to overwhelm him, on the outside, Seraphimon's egg begins to stir...

Izumi finds herself alone in Sephirothmon's Water Area, where Ranamon's fans attempt to catch her in a trap. Izumi manages to win them over with her kindness, which only enflames Ranamon's jealousy further!

After a crippling defeat causes him to flee, Takuya finds himself back home, returned to that fateful day he boarded the Trailmon. Except for some reason, he's an observer in Digimon form. Will he stop his past self from entering the Digital World in the first place, or renew his committment to the fight?
