On August 7th it has been announced that Ayabie will be forming a new band to “conduct smooth band activities”. The four members are Yumehito (G), Takehito (G), Intetsu (B) and Kenzo (Dr). Yet they will not perform a last live with the original line up.
Each of the members has also left a comment on the decision..
Intetsu: “We had plans to perform a last live with the original members, however, we couldn’t come to a conclusion, which is why we couldn’t realize it. I am sorry for all members being as selfish as always.”
Yumehito: “We have caused a lot of insecure feelings. However, I don’t want to make music under the pretense of emotions anymore. I believe that this choice is not wrong as such.”
Takehito: “I believed that even as the environment surrounding Ayabie wouldn’t change, that if our thoughts came together as five again, we could still do anything. Until the end, until the very, very end of it, we had been looking for this possibility; however, the result still came to be that we couldn’t make it out in the end. I am very sorry about this!”
Kenzo: “There are a number of things coming up probably, yet I would be happy if you keep watching over us as this decision came to be the best for us.”
