Maaya Sakamoto “Hajimari no Umi” updated details, PV music video

Maaya Sakamoto getting read to release her 22nd single “Hajimari no Umi” has revealed jacket covers, full track list and preview music video. The title track has tie-in as the opening theme song for anime TV series Tamayura – More Aggressive. Single “Hajimari no Umi” comes on two editions that hit stores July 31st 2013 – updated details and PV music video follow.

Singer/song writer/voice actress Maaya Sakamoto previously provided the opening for the anime Tamayura’s original OVA series with song “Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara” (2010) and its first season Tamayura – Hitotose with her 20th single “Okaerinasai” (2011). An acoustic version of song “Okaerinasai” is included on this new single and will be used as an insert song during the new anime TV series.

Anime Tamayura – More Aggressive continues the story from the anime’s first season Tamayura – Hitotose which aired in 2011. The story follows high school student Fu Sawarari who has moved to a new town, the one her deceased father grew up in. With her friends she loves taking pictures with her fathers old 35mm camera.

In the new season Fu decides to create a photography club and while struggling to recruit members from new incoming students she encounters Kanae Mitani. Kanae’s hobby is also photography with her Pentax Q camera. Anime Tamayura – More Aggressive produced by studio TYO Animation, begins airing July 3rd 2013 on Tokyo MX. No information if it will be available outside of Japan.

New single “Hajimari no Umi” comes on two editions with both including a bonus CD track medley from her Roots of SSW concert (April 25th 2013 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall Tokyo),
