LiSA announced her next single Brave Freak Out described as an up-tempo rock tune. Her 10th solo single gets tie-up as opening theme for upcoming anime Qualidea Code (クオリディア・コード). Single Brave Freak Out comes on three editions scheduled for release on August 24th 2016.

Celebrating her 5th anniversary in 2016 LiSA most recently released mini-album LUCKY Hi FiVE! on her solo debut anniversary date April 20th 2016.
In conjunction with her anniversary and mini-album LiSA launched the LiVE is Smile Always ~ Hi! FiVE ~ tour with 16 performances scheduled. It started April 20th & 21st 2016 at NHK Hall Tokyo and finishes up July 30th at Zepp Sapporo.

Original multimedia project Qualidea Code (クオリディア・コード) gets concept and scripts provided by author unit Speakeasy – Sagara Sou (Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat), Tachibana Koushi (Date A Live), and Watari Wataru (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU). The project also includes publishers Shueisha, Kadokawa, and Shogakukan plus Marvelous AQL. Animation production handled by A-1 Pictures.
The anime starts July 9th 2016 on Tokyo MX and other digital channels in Japan. Unit ClariS provides first ending theme Gravity and GARNiDELiA will provide the anime’s second ending theme (untitled).
Single Brave Freak Out comes on three editions (details subject to change). Limited includes 16-page booklet. Limited "Anime" edition gets anime themed jacket cover and different coupling tracks plus anime mini-poster and sleeve case.
