Singer ChouCho has updated the release details for her 6th single, “Dream Riser” - cover jackets and full track list are now revealed. The single is featured as the opening theme for Fall anime GIRLS und PANZER which began airing this week. “Dream Riser” comes in two editions and hits stores on October 24th. ChouCho debuted with record label Lantis about a year ago with single “Kawaru Mirai” that was featured as the opening theme for anime Heaven’s Memo Pad. All of her released singles have an anime or game tie-ins and most recently she released her first album “flyleaf” on August 8th.
ChouCho’s next live appearance will be October 21st at DENGEKI MUSIC LIVE!! SWEET STAGE which is part of the events commemorating the 20th anniversary of ASCII Media Works. Joining ChouCho will be artists Mami Kawada, Yui Horie, Ceui, and more. Additional details at the event website (link at bottom).
Anime GIRLS und PANZER follows the story of typical high school girls who drive WWII vintage tanks and compete against other teams of girls. The tanks are accurately detailed to match their real-world counterpart…mostly…tank fans should be pleased.

The anime begins airing late-night October 8th on Tokyo MX. Outside of Japan its announced to stream on The Anime Network (TAN)(North America) starting sometime in November. Preview video #2 follows below the release details.
