eyelis has updated the release details for their first single “CAN’T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU” – cover jacket and full track list are revealed. The title track is featured as the theme song for Fall anime Hayate no Gotoku: Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. The anime is an all new story in the Hayate no Gotoku (Hayate Combat Butler) franchise. eyelis’s single “CAN’T TAKE MY EYES OFF YOU” is available in one CD-only edition and it hits stores November 14th – read on for updated release details.
eyelis which consists of three sound producers Satomi Kawasaki (vocals,keyboard), Takeshi Masuda (guitar,vocals), and Wataru Maeguchi (strings) have composed and arranged several anime songs including “God only knows” and “A Whole New World Good Only Knows” opening themes for anime The World God Only Knows. Their first major label release album “PRE-PRODUCTION”, which consists of 12 self-cover anime songs, hit stores May 30th.
The group has also announced a new single “Hikari no Kiseki / Mirai e no Tobira” which are two songs from the new OVA anime for The World God Only Knows. The OVA is a spin-off story featuring character Tenri. More details are reported – here.
Anime Hayate no Gotoku: Can’t Take My Eyes Off You places the characters of the original Hayate no Gotoku anime into all new stories. While not based directly off of the original manga by Kenjirou Hata, he will take part in creating the new story concepts for the anime.
The anime begins airing in Japan on TV Tokyo October 3rd and is streamed same day outside of Japan at Crunchyroll.
