Watanabe Miyuki updated the release details for single Yasashiku Suru Yori Kiss wo Shite (やさしくするよりキスをして) – jacket covers, track list, and live song performance unveiled. Her solo single debut came as reward for winning the AKB48 Group’s 5th Janken Taikai. Along with Milky’s solo song the single includes coupling track Harukaze Pianissimo (春風ピアニッシモ) featuring the tournament’s 2nd – 16th places. AKB48 held their 5th annual Janken Taikai (Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament) on September 18th 2014 at Nippon Budokan with Watanabe Miyuki defeating Kojima Haruna in the final match. Unlike past tournaments that formed a single with the winner as center, the winner was rewarded with a debut solo single and rest of the top 16 performing on the coupling track.
Since debuting in 2011 with AKB48 sister group NMB48 ace member Watanabe Miyuki (21) as participated on all single title tracks and shared the center position with Yamamoto Sayaka (21) on 4 of their 10 releases.
Single Yasashiku Suru Yori Kiss wo Shite (やさしくするよりキスをして) comes on two editions and most stores offer a bundled set. Limited edition includes application for lottery ticket (details not announced). Regular edition includes photo (1 of 2). Most stores offer bonus photo (1 of 10) while supplies last.
