Nogizaka46 (乃木坂46) revealed more details for single Taiyō Knock (太陽ノック) – jacket covers and music video unveiled. Their 12th single features member Ikoma Rina as the center position. Single Taiyō Knock comes on four editions hitting stores July 22nd 2015. More details and music video follows.
Most recently AKB48 rival/sister group Nogizaka46 released 11th single Inochi wa Utsukushii (命は美しい) on March 18th 2015. The single had no problem charting #1 on Oricon with over 500,000 copies sold.
The single features a 18 member senbatsu lead by Ikoma Rina as center. Though she has shared the center position on previous singles this is her first solo center for Nogizaka46.
Other senbatsu members: Nishino Nanase, Ikuta Erika, Shiraishi Mai, Hashimoto Nanami, Wakatsuki Yumi, Sakurai Reika, Akimoto Manatsu, Fukagawa Mai, Takayama Kazumi, Ito Marika, Eto Misa, Inoue Sayuri, Saito Yuri, Hoshino Minami, Matsumura Sayuri, Saito Asuka, and 2nd-gen member Shinuchi Mai (first senbatsu).
Nogizaka46 is also about to premiere their first documentary film Kanashimi no Wasurekata Documentary of Nogizaka46 (悲しみの忘れ方 Documentary of 乃木坂46). The movie chronicles the group’s first 3+ years from forming with first generation members announced August 21st 2011. The documentary movie premieres July 10th 2015 in theaters across Japan.
Single Taiyō Knock comes on four editions (details subject to change). Limited editions (First Press) include handshake event ticket or special gift application plus one member photo (36 different per edition – 108 total).
