OLDCODEX updated the release details for new single single Lantana – jacket covers, full track list, and preview music video unveiled. Their 10th single has tie-up as the 3rd ending theme for season 3 of anime Kuroko’s Basketball. Single Lantana comes on two editions hitting stores June 10th 2015. Updated details and PVs follow.
Unit OLDCODEX also announced their 11th single (untitled) with tie-up as opening theme for Summer 2015 anime GOD EATER (more details coming!). Most recently they released mini-album pledge on April 1st 2015.
Previously OLDCODEX provided ED1 for season 2 of anime Kuroko’s Basketball with 8th single WALK (2013.11.13) and 5th single CATALRHYTHM (2012.08.08) was featured as ED1 for the 1st season of the anime. Plus unit vocalist Suzuki Tatsuhisa (Ta_2) voices the roll of Kazunari Takao in the anime.
The anime Kuroko’s Basketball (Kuroko no Basuke, 黒子のバスケ), adapted from manga by Tadatoshi Fujimaki, centers around Kuroko Tetsuya part of a legendary Generation of Miracles middle school basketball team. He was the invisible 6th man on that team that no one seems to be able to remember but with an undeniable presence. Now a first year at Serin High School he chooses to become the shadow for fellow first year Kagami Taiga (who spent his middle school in America) to help fulfill Kagami’s goal of becoming the best basketball player in Japan. Their team from Serin battles other teams including the 5 teams who each have one of the Generation of Miracles in the Winter Cup to determine the top High School Basketball team in Japan.
The 3rd season of Kuroko’s Basketball started January 10th 2015 on MBS TV and Tokyo MX in Japan and continues this spring season. Outside of Japan provider Crunchyroll simulcasts season 3 with the first two seasons available on-demand.
