OLDCODEX is about to release new mini-album pledge with 6 new songs including featured Eyes in chase and physical with tie-up as opening theme for anime Q Transformers Mystery of Convoy. Vocalist Suzuki Tatsuhisa (鈴木達央, Ta_2) voices character Lockdown in the new anime adaption for the Transformers franchise. Mini-album pledge comes on one CD +DVD edition hitting stores April 1st 2015. Release details and preview music video for Eyes in the chase follow.

Rock group OLDCODEX also announced their next single [untitled] with tie-up as the ending theme for Kuroko’s Basketball season 3 during the Seirin vs. Rakuzan arc. Their 10th single releases June 10th 2015.

OLDCODEX formed in 2009 and currently includes singer/composer voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhisa (Ta_2 in the band) and songwriter/artist YORKE who provides lyrics for most of the songs.

Anime adaption Q Transformers Mystery of Convoy is inspired by the 1986 game that’s been updated by DLE studio as smartphone game app Q Transformers Kaetekitta Convoy no Nazo. The original game was notorious for being impossible to win and both the new game and anime feature super-deformed “Q Transformers”.

An accompanying toy line, game, and the anime are all part of 35th anniversary of the Choro-Q toy car line and 30th anniversary of the Transformers toy robot line. The game app has been available since August 7th 2014 and the anime will start airing in January 6th 2015 on Tokyo MX.

Mini-album pledge includes DVD with music video and making-of footage for song Eyes in chase. (*note price and catalog change from original as it now includes the DVD).
