Eir Aoi (Aoi Eir, 藍井エイル) announced new single Tsubasa (翼). Her 13th single has tie-up as opening theme for new season of anime The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki Fujin Ranbu, アルスラーン戦記 風塵乱舞). Single Tsubasa comes on three editions scheduled for release on July 20th 2016.
For anime Arslan Senki’s first season singer/songwriter Eir Aoi provided first ending theme Lapis Lazuli (ラピスラズリ). The song released as her 10th single on April 22nd 2015. Most recently she released single Accentier (アクセンティア) on March 2nd 2016. Her 12th single is featured as theme for PS Vita game Digimon World -next 0rder-.
Anime The Heroic Legend of Arslan (Arslan Senki, アルスラーン戦記) is adapted from manga by Arakawa Hiromu (orig. novels by Tanaka Yoshiki) and follows young prince Arslan. His kingdom of Pars is attacked and at the age of 14 Arslan endures his first battle only to see his father, the King, defeated. Now on the run Arslan embarks on a journey to reclaim what he has lost.
The new season of the anime airs starting July 3rd 2016 on MBS and TBS TV in Japan. The first season was simulcast by provider Funimation.com.
