GARNiDELiA announced details for new single titled Yakusoku -Promise code- (約束 -Promise code-). The unit’s 5th single has tie-up as ending theme #2 for upcoming anime Qualidea Code (クオリディア・コード). Single Yakusoku -Promise code- comes on three editions scheduled for release on August 17th 2016.
Energetic rock unit GARNiDELiA consists of producer Abe Yoshinori “toku” and vocalist Mizuhashi Mai “MARiA”. Most recently they released an indies compilation album BiRTHiA on August 26th 2015. Before signing with Sony Music Entertainment Japan (DefSTAR Records) in 2014 they had many independent releases. The album contains some of the early songs written and composed by toku before GARNiDELiA formed (2010.09) such as ARiA (2010.05) and SPiCa (2009.08) both originally with vocals by vocaloid Hatsune Miku.
New multimedia project Qualidea Code (クオリディア・コード) gets concept and scripts provided by author unit Speakeasy – Sagara Sou (Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat), Tachibana Koushi (Date A Live), and Watari Wataru (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU). The project also includes publishers Shueisha, Kadokawa, and Shogakukan plus Marvelous AQL. Animation production handled by A-1 Pictures.
The anime starts July 9th 2016 on Tokyo MX and other digital channels in Japan. LiSA provides opening theme Brave Freak Out and ClariS provides the anime’s first ending theme Gravity.
