Korean group 2PM recently announced a new release date for their 5th Japanese single “Masquerade” – the single hits stores November 14th! The release was originally scheduled for August 29th but due to an incident with member Nichkhun the new single release was postponed. Its back on now though with a few changes – read on for the updated release details.
Track list for “Masquerade” has changed from the originally scheduled release – coupling track “Stay here” and bonus Regular edition track “Falling in love” composed by member Jun. K. have been removed and will be released at a later date. New coupling track “Forever” composed by member Junho has been added to all editions and Regular edition bonus track “Masquerade (ArmySlick’s bavtronic mix)” added.
The group also announced member Junsu would change his artist name to “Jun. K.”
The postponement was the result of member Nichkhun being involved in a drunk driving accident in Korea on July 24th. As a result he was suspended from activities with 2PM in Korea and Japan. 2PM canceled some appearances but for many the other 5 members of 2PM carried on. In a release on October 5th it was announced that a very apologetic and remorseful for his actions Nichkun would re-join 2PM – management and the other members felt the time was right to resume activities with all 6 members.

As a result they have since revised the release date for postponed Japanese single “Masquerade” and announced a national Japan tour.

– Regular CD-only that includes bonus song “Masquerade (ArmySlick’s bavtronic mix)”. First Press version adds trading card ( 1 of 8 ).
