Angela provides theme song for fall anime K

angela will provide the opening theme song for upcoming anime “K”. Details are limited but the anime’s first promotional release titled “K Image Blu-ray WHITE & BLACK” will include a CD with 2 songs by angela. More details on this release and the anime including the 3rd promotional trailer video follows.

The Official website for the anime has announced several promotions – check out the links at the bottom of the post for more details:

– 100 images in 100 days (100 Visuals x Days) promotion starting June 23rd, ending approximately October 1st.
– web radio show running July 13th to September 28th.
– Blu-ray release August 1st.
– “K” animation presentation – Hibiya Kokaido (1-3 Hibiya Park, Tokyo) – August 12th 5pm-7pm. Attendance 1800 via lottery.

A bit of mystery around this anime produced by innovative team of GoRA x GoHands and associated with Starchild productions. They are slowly releasing information about it and creating somewhat of a buzz around it. Not officially stated but this appears to be a fall anime TV series that begins early October.

The promotional release is a Blu-ray and CD titled “K Image Blu-ray WHITE & BLACK” – the BD disk contains main character introductions, interviews by the vocal cast, and other promotional materials (40min). The strong voice cast includes Daisuke Ono, Tomokazu Sugita, Yui Horie, Miyuki Sawashiro, and Daisuke Namikawa.

Also included is a CD with 2 songs by group angela who is announced as providing opening theme song. Not yet officially stated if the CD will include the opening theme song.
