Eir Aoi has updated her new single “INNOCENCE” - full track list, cover jackets, and preview are revealed. Her 3rd single is featured as the second opening theme for popular anime Sword Art Online. “INNOCENCE” is offered in three editions and scheduled to hit stores on November 21st. Eir Aoi is celebrating her 1-year anniversary since the debut of her first single “Memoria” that released October 1st 2011 and was featured as the ending theme for anime Fate/Zero. Her second single “AURORA” released on September 5th and is featured as the next opening theme for Mobile Suit Gundam AGE.
Eir Aoi held her first one-man live event at Shibuya duo MUSIC EXCHANGE on September 22nd – her set list included “Memoria”, “AURORA”, and more for a total of 12 songs.
She made an encore performance with her new single “INNOCENCE”. More live events have been announced for December (more details at her official website linked at bottom),

Anime Sword Art Online is adapted from light novels by Reki Kawahara who also provided the novels for Accel World. The first season followed the story of ordinary game players who have become trapped inside an online virtual reality game. Dying in the game means death in real-life also. Now they all must fight to end the game and free themselves. Season two picks up the story with some new characters and some changes…fairies?
The anime began airing July 7th in Japan on station Tokyo MX and starts its second season October 13th. Single “INNOCENCE” comes in three editions,
– Limited with bonus DVD that includes music video and making-of footage for the title track.
