Nana Mizuki has added more details to her previously announced single now titled – “BRIGHT STREAM”. The title track and one of the coupling tracks will be featured anime movie Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 2nd A’s. Plus the second track will be featured in the summer anime DOG DAYS second season. The all A-side single includes three tracks with anime tie-ins! “BRIGHT STREAM” is due out August 1st. Nana Mizuki just released her 27th single “Time Space” on June 6th – (release details) – which is also an all A-side single with 4 tracks that have tie-ins including the track “METRO BAROQUE” featured as the theme song for anime movie “BLOOD-C The Last Dark”. The single made a strong showing on the Oricon weekly charts landing in the #3 spot selling over 52,000 copies and the single hand enough popularity left to chart #10 the following week.
Title track on the new single “BRIGHT STREAM” is featured as the main theme song for anime movie Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 2nd A’s and coupling track “Sacred Force” is an insert song in the movie. Nana Mizuki also voices one of the main characters Fate Testarossa in the movie and TV series of the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime franchise.

The other coupling track on the single – “FEARLESS HERO” – is featured as the opening theme song for the second season of anime DOG DAYS. The anime’s first season’s opening theme “SCARLET KNIGHT” was also provided by Nana Mizuki. In addtion to performing the anime’s opening theme songs, Nana Mizuki voices two characters in the anime: Nanami Takatsuki and Ricotta Elmarthat. The second season begins airing on Tokyo MX July 7th.
“BRIGHT STREAM” comes as a Regular CD-only edition – First Press version adds special packaging and lottery ticket for Nana Mizuki LIVE Banquet at Kyoto International Manga Fair 2012 September 23rd.
