Idol group Nogizaka46 is getting ready to release their 4th single “Seifuku no Mannequin” which includes coupling track “Yubi Bouenkyou” that’s featured as ending theme for anime TV series Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic. The single’s title track has a tie-up as CM theme song for HTC J Butterfly smartphone. Single “Seifuku no Mannequin” comes on five editions and is scheduled to hit stores December 19th – read on for more release details.
Fans can see Nogizaka46 at their last live events of the year December 27th at Zepp Tokyo. The idol group will hold two events, 1:00pm & 5:00pm and fans who are members and booking tickets via the Nogizaka46 Mobile site are eligible to attend receptions preceding the live events. Nogizaka’s previous singles have all indicated the strong fan support and popularity of the group formed specifically to rival AKB48. Their third single “Hashire! Bicycle” celebrated their 1-year anniversary released August 22nd and gave them their 2nd #1 single on the Oricon weekly charts. The group’s second single “Oide Shampoo”, released May 2nd, became their first #1 one charting single (release details). Nogizaka’s released their debut single “Guru Guru Curtain” February 22nd and landed #2 on the Oricon weekly charts.
Anime Magi – The Labyrinth of Magic is adapted from manga by Ohtaka Shinobu and is set in the world of Ali Baba, the middle-east, and Aladdin. Ali Baba learns that he can attain great wealth and power by conquering one of the mystical Dungeons. While traveling Ali Baba meets Aladdin and they agree to find the Dungeon together.
