The girls of RAINBOW have announced re-release of their first Japanese album “Over the Rainbow – Special Edition”. RAINBOW released “Over the Rainbow” back on March 28th and since then group has been quiet on new Japanese releases until now. There are three special editions with different bonuses each said to commemorate the hit album. None of the editions have new songs but include different mixes of RAINBOW’s live performances, videos, and hit Korean songs. In Korea RAINBOW started to undertake solo projects since the start of 2012, individually appearing on variety shows and dramas. Three of the members, main vocalists SeungAh, Jisook, HyunYoung, formed a trio “Rainbow Pixie” and released song “Hoi Hoi” back in January. There is a rumored new Korean album due out soon but no official word about it yet.
The commemorative releases “Over the Rainbow – Special Edition” come on three editions with different bonuses. Track list on the CD remains the same from the original album release,
– Limited A with bonus DVD that includes all eight music videos in Japanese and Korean previously released.
– Limited B KBS “Music Bank” edition with bonus DVD with six song performances from the Korean music show.
– Limited C Greatest Hits edition with bonus CD that includes 8 of their hit Korean songs plus a bonus track.
All editions come in First Press versions that include an application card (valid only in Japan) for special gifts – no details announced yet.
