Idol unit 9nine updated the details for their new single “Evolution No.9” – jacket covers, full track list, and PV music video are revealed. Its their 10th single and has tie-in as the theme song for TBS/MBS TV drama Tank Top Fighter staring Erena Ono. Single “Evolution No.9” comes on three editions and hits stores June 12th 2013 – updated details and short version music video (and new CM spot for Tank Top Fighter) follow.
Member Kawashima Umika (middle) will be making a cameo appearance in the new drama (Watch the new CM spot below with Umika). Also member Satake Uki (left) recently made her voice acting debut as character Podongo-Rapoi in anime Hunter x Hunter. Plus she is just about to release her 7th gravure image DVD “Kanojyo” on May 25th 2013
9nine recently released their 2nd album “CUE” on March 13th 2013. The album includes tracks from 4 singles plus new songs for 13 total tracks. Included on the album is their 9th single “colorful” (2013.02.06) with tie-in as the main theme song for anime movie Star Driver THE MOVIE and 8th single “White Wishes” (2012.12.12) that was featured as the ending theme for anime My Little Monster (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun). Album “CUE” made it to #15 on the weekly Oricon charts.
