Aoi Eir (藍井エイル) is getting ready to release her first single of 2013 “Cobalt Sky” (コバルト・スカイ). Its her first single since “INNOCENCE” (2012.11.21) that was featured as the second OP theme for popular anime Sword Art Online. Single “Cobalt Sky” comes on three editions including a Limited Pressing with DVD that contains footage from her solo-live events this winter. Aoi Eir most recently released her first album “BLAU” on January 30th 2013. The album features new song “Avalon Blue” and includes her first three singles “MEMORIA” (ED Fate/Zero), “AURORA” (OP Mobile Suit Gundam AGE), and “INNOCENCE” (OP2 Sword Art Online) plus more for a total of 14 tracks. Fans showed their support pushing the album to #4 on the week Oricon charts.
In support of the new album she held her first solo-live events, Feb 24th Club Quattro, Osaka; March 10th Colony Sapporo; March 15th Akasaka Blitz Tokyo. Footage from these event(s) is part of the Limited Pressing edition of new single “Cobalt Sky”.
Aoi Eir will hold 13 in-store pre-release events (Animate stores) for fans reserving the new single at the selected Animate store. The events kicked off May 18th in Yokohama and conclude June 16th in Takamatsu. Check the special website for more details (link below).
Her 4th single comes on three editions,
– Limited Pressing with DVD that includes live footage from Aoi Eir’s solo-live events from February and March.
– Limited with DVD with music video and making-of footage for title track
