FLOW is preparing to release their 25th single “HERO ~Kibou no Uta~ / CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” with both songs featured in the upcoming anime movie Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods (Kami to Kami). The single is their 2nd tied to the band’s 10th anniversary celebrations and it will hit stores a week ahead of their 8th album “FLOW The Max!!!”. Rock band FLOW previously released the first single of their 10th year anniversary “Brave Blue” which was featured as the second opening theme song for anime series Eureka Seven AO. This single dropped September 5th 2012 – more details here.
The new movie in the Dragon Ball franchise – “Dragon Ball Z Battle of Gods (Kami to Kami)” continues the story as the God of Destruction Bills awakens after a long slumber. Upon hearing rumors of a Saiyan warrior who defeated Frieza, he is excited that such a powerful opponent has appeared and he tracks down Goku. Equally excited at the prospect of a new challenge, Goku, against his friends advice faces him in battle but is quickly overwhelmed by the god’s power. Realizing the threat Bills poses to the entire universe, Goku and his friends must now find a way to stop him before it’s too late.
The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on March 30th 2013. Watch the newest trailer below.
Title song “CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” is featured as the main theme song for the new Dragon Ball Z movie and other title song “HERO ~Kibou no Uta~” is used as an insert song during the new movie.
FLOW’s new single “HERO ~Kibou no Uta~ / CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA” comes on one Regular CD-only edition. First Press version adds a card and slip-cover case illustration for Dragon Ball Z.
