Mami Kawada recently announced her 13th single “FIXED STAR” that will be featured as the theme song for anime movie Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion). Mami Kawada has provided a number of songs for the Toaru Majutsu no Index (A Certain Magical Index) anime franchise. For the first season (2008) her singles “PSI-missing” and “masterpiece” were featured as opening theme songs. In season two (2010) she provided both opening theme songs again with singles “No buts!” and “See visionS”.
Mami Kawada is also preparing to release a greatest hits album “BEST -BIRTH-“ on February 13th 2013. The album will include single “FIXED STAR” along with 11 other singles, new songs, plus more for 16 planned tracks. More details on the album are here.
Toaru Majutsu no Index: Endymion no Kiseki (A Certain Magical Index: Miracle of Endymion) is an all new story with main characters Touma and Index. More details at the anime’s official website (link below).
The movie is set to premier in Japan on February 23rd 2013. The newest trailer was released back on August 9th – check it out below the single’s release details.
Single “FIXED STAR” comes on one CD-only edition. Includes coupling track “Intersection” (featured in upcoming Index PSP video game) and karaoke versions of both songs.
