ZAQ’s 5th solo single VOICE has tie-up as the opening theme for upcoming anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions II (Chu-2 byo demo KOI ga shitai). It continues her connection with the anime providing the first season’s opening theme Sparkling Daydream as well as numerous insert songs and writing/composing the ending theme performed by the voice cast. ZAQ’s debut single Sparkling Daydream (2012.10.24) is featured as the opening theme for anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. She also contributed 4 insert songs for the anime series with all songs are written, arranged, and performed by ZAQ. Additionally ZAQ provided the ending theme songs (sung by the four main voice actresses under the name of Black Raison d’etre). Continuing for movie version of the anime titled Takanashi Rikkia Kai – Chunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai! that premiered September 14th 2013, ZAQ provided the theme songs performed by the voice cast as Black Raison d’etre.

ZAQ most recently released her 4th single Extra Revolution (エキストラレボリューション) on October 23rd 2013 (more details). The song is featured as the opening theme for anime TV series Yu-Sibu. ZAQ’s 3rd single Gekijo Ron released August 21st 2013 (more details) and is featured as the second opening theme for anime High School DxD NEW.

Anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions (Chunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai) is adapted from light novels by Torako. The story follows 1st year high school student Yuta Togashi who in middle school was a chunibyo (lost in a self-made delusional world to cope with adolescence) and vows to begin a normal life in high school. He meets new classmate Rikka Takanashi who is still deeply chunibyo and now lives in the apartment above. Yuta is asked to help Rikka break out of her delusions and learns of her difficult past and pain.

The anime’s second season airs beginning January 2014 on Tokyo MX and other digital channels in Japan. Outside of Japan season one was licensed by Sentai Filmworks and streamed on The Anime Network but no announcement yet for season two.

The anime’s ending theme Van!shment Th!s World, like the first season, is preformed by Black Raison d’etre (voice cast including Uesaka Sumire) and written and composed by ZAQ.
