KANJANI8 (関ジャニ∞) recently announced new album Kanjanizm (関ジャニズム) as the second release commemorating their 10th anniversary and second release on their independent label INFINITY Records. Their 8th original album includes five singles, new songs, and more for 14 total track planned. Vocal and performance unit KANJANI8 is getting ready to release their 30th single and first release commemorating their 10th anniversay – Ittajanaika / CloveR. The double a-side single will not be included on the new album and it releases October 15th 2014 (more details).
KANJANI8 debut single Naniwa Iroha Bushi released on August 25th 2004 and charted #1 on both the enka and pop charts. The group gradually moved away from the enka-sound to a pure pop group by 2007. They released 7th album JUKE BOX about one year ago on October 16th 2013. The album landed at #7 on the annual Oricon album rankings with over 373,000 copies sold.
Album Kanjanizm comes on three editions and most stores offer a bundled set of all three. Limited editions include photo booklet and DVD with music videos and more (contents differ). Regular edition adds bonus CD with four songs planned by special Kanjanizm unit.
