Amazarashi updated the release details for single Speed to Masatsu (スピードと摩擦) – jacket covers, full track list, and more unveiled. Their 2nd major label single has tie-up as opening theme for anime Game of Laplace (Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace, 乱歩奇譚 Game of Laplace) that honors the 50th anniversary of the famous author Edogawa Rampo’s passing. Single Speed to Masatsu comes on three edition hitting stores August 19th 2015.
Nihilist rock band amazarashi formed in 2007 with main members Akita Hiromu (秋田ひろむ)(Vo, Gt) and Toyokawa Manami (豊川真奈美)(Key). After releasing multiple mini-albums and two full length albums the group released its single Kisetsu wa Tsugitsugi Shinde Iku on February 18th 2015 with tie-up as theme for anime Tokyo Ghoul.
Anime Rampo Kitan Game of Laplace (乱歩奇譚 Game of Laplace) is adapted from an drafts by the late Edogawa Rampo (江戸川乱歩) who passed away in 1965. The anime is produced to honor the 50th anniversary of the famous author’s passing. The story follows student Kobayashi who meets a genius detective Akechi as he investigates a series of murders that have taken place at the his middle school.
The anime begins July 3rd 2015 on Fuji TV’s noitamina block in Japan and provider Funimation.com simulcasts for North American.
Singer Sayuri (“Sanketsu shōjo-sa yuri”) provides ending theme Mikazuki (ミカヅキ) with her debut major label single.
Single Speed to Masatsu comes on three editions. Each edition has different track list. Limited Pressing includes digipack, TV-size version of title song, and now includes download code for the anime opening animation without credits. Catalog number changed though most stores should automatically covert (AICL-2933 -> AICL-2975).
