Galileo Galilei announced new song Climber with tie-up as ending theme for upcoming second season of anime Haikyu!!. A CD single release hasn’t been announced yet but Climber will be available for download via Recochoku service starting October 7th 2015.

Group leader Yuuki Ozaki (Vo. & Gu.) commented: “I’ve read the manga since the original Haikyu!! and was very excited when we were offered to provide the new opening theme. The anime production team is very serious about the song lyrics matching the anime which really help me smoothly write down the new song. We are looking forward to when you can listen to Climber in conjunction with the animation of Haikyu!!.

Anime Haikyu!! is adapted from manga by Furudate Haruichi and aired its first season April – September 2014. The high school volleyball anime features energetic Hinata Shōyō and superstar player Kageyama Tobio who strive for victory against the many high-powered high school volleyball teams.haiyku2

The anime is again produced by Production I.G and airs in Japan on MBS TV & CBC TV starting October 3rd 2015. Outside of Japan provider Crunchyroll simulcast the first season of anime but no official news for season 2. Most recently Galileo Galilei re-released single Aoi Shiori digitally on July 23rd 2015. The single has tie-up as theme for popular anime Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (2011) and is again being used as theme for the Fuji TV live-action adaption that starts September 21st 2015.
