After Ayumi is badly shaken by the news that Takumi will be traveling abroad with Rika, Nomiya realizes the depths of his feelings for her.

Suzu accidentally spends the night sleeping in the water tank and wakes up with a high fever. Ikuto goes out to fetch ice to help bring down her temperature, but he runs into more trouble than he bargained for in the process.

At Fujiwara Design, Supervisor Miwako's attempts to embarrass Kazushi are all in vain - for a surprising reason.

Everyone takes a day off during rainy weather, so Ikuto spends his first leisurely day without having to work on the island with Suzu. While they're relaxing, they get some unexpected visitors.

We take a break to hear the legend of Lohmeyer-Sempai, man among men, who once enriched the lives (and stomachs) of Yuta and the other apartment-building residents.

Rin asks Ikuto for his assistance building some new homes on the island. Her family is all for pushing the two of them together, but her sister, Mikoto, has other plans.

Rejuvenated, Yuta sets his sights on Hokkaido and the northernmost tip of Japan.

Chikage says she wants to show Ikuto some items that have washed up from the outside world so he can identify them, but she has ulterior motives in inviting him over.

Needing to buy a replacement bike, Yuta takes a temporary job with a temple repair crew, which he finds almost satisfying enough to make him forget about his journey.

Suzu introduces Ikuto to her master, the Lord of the South. Her master informs them that today is the "Survival Game Day" which decides who will be the future lord and enlists their help.

Yuta faces a variety of challenges on his impromptu bike trip, and Ayumi meets Rika in person for the first time.
