Minori Chihara is getting ready to release a b-sides compilation album “B-side Collection” which includes 15 coupling tracks from “Peace of mind” from her debut single “Junpaku Sanctuary” (2007) through “Hitohira no negai” from her 15th single “ZONE//ALONE” (2012)
Minori Chihara released 16th major single “SELF PRODUCER” – with the title track having tie-in as the opening theme song for Fall 2012 anime Onii-chan Dakedo ai sae Areba Kankei nai yo. Anime Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet is an original production from anime studio Production I.G. The story is set in the distant future with the Human Galactic Alliance in a battle for survival against a race of grotesque beings. In the midst of an intense battle a young lieutenant Red and his mobile weapon suit Chamber fall into a space distortion throwing him across the galaxy and time.
Red who only knows a life of constant battle awakes from an induced hibernation to peaceful world. Soon he realizes he’s on Earth the long forgotten home of humanity. The planet is completely covered by seas now and people live on fleets of giant ships and survive on salvaged relics from the water’s depths. He now finds himself living on city ship Gargantia along side a 15-year girl Amy who serves as a messenger aboard the fleet.
