Nana Mizuki has added more release details for her 29th single “Vitalization” and revealed a preview music video. The double-a side single’s title track has tie-in as the opening theme for anime Symphogear G and coupling track “Ai no Hoshi” has tie-in as the ending theme for anime series Space Battleship Yamato 2199 (Chapter 7). Single “Vitalization” hits stores July 31st 2013 – new bonus and release information plus the PV music video all follow.
Popular voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki renews her roll as Tsubasa Kazanari in the second season of the anime Symphogear, officially titled Senki Zessho Symphogear G. In addition to voicing key character in the first season of anime Symphogear she provided the opening theme with 26th single “Synchrogazer” (2012.01.11). Fellow singer/voice actress Ayahi Takagaki who voices another key character Chris Yukine in the anime provided the first ending theme with single “Meteor Light” and with her 6th single “Next Destination” provides the ending theme for season 2 (more details).
Anime Symphogear is set in an alternate future with idols who battle aliens called the Noise with musically charged armor known as Symphogear. The first season was packed with musical-magical-girl-mech action with lots of insert songs from Mizuki, Takagaki, and other key character voiced by Aoi Yuki. Expect more of the same for season two.
The anime produced by studio Satelight and distributed by Aniplex begins July 4th 2013 on Tokyo MX in Japan. Outside of Japan no official streaming available unfortunately.
