Perfume Sweet Refrain new single announced, theme drama Toshi Densetsu no Onna

Perfume has announced their 19th single Sweet Refrain with tie-in as the theme song for TV Asahi drama Toshi Densetsu no Onna. Its Perfume’s 3rd single of 2013 and comes on two editions. Single Sweet Refrain is quickly scheduled for release on November 27th 2013 – read on for more details…

Perfume recently released their 4th original album LEVEL 3 that includes singles Spring of Life, Spending all my time, Mirai no Museum, Magic of Love, new songs, and more for 14 total tracks. New album song Party Maker is featured along with Perfume in CM campaign for Eisai Chocola BB Sparkling line-up of health drinks. Album LEVEL 3 hit on stores October 2nd 2013 and fans push it to #1 on the Oricon weekly charts when it sold over 165,000 copies.

Perfume is also getting ready for the finals of their dance contest in conjunction with new album the – Miseyo 2nd Perfume Dance Contest ~ LEVEL 3 ~. It’s the first time in 2 years for fans to show their best Perfume dance moves. The featured song is Spending all my time and entry period was between August 13th – September 6th 2013 with the final round at the Mielparque Tokyo Event Hall October 26th 2013. TV Asahi drama Toshi Densetsu no Onna (Woman of Urban Legend) stars Masami Nagasawa as Tsukiko Otonashi a urban legend geek and detective in the Metro Police Criminal Investigation Section 1. The drama also stars Junpei Mizobata and Takenaka Naoto and began airing on TV Asahi October 11th 2013. More details at official website (link below).

Perfume and the show’s stars are planning to connect for a dance collaboration with song Sweet Refrain during the drama’s end credits.
