Ikimonogakari (いきものがかり) revealed more details for double-a side single Netsujo no Spectrum / Namida ga Kierunara (熱情のスペクトラム / 涙がきえるなら) – jacket cover and preview music video plus CM spot unveiled. Their 28th single features track Netsujo no Spectrum with tie-up as opening theme for upcoming anime The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). The single comes on one CD-only edition that hits stores October 15th 2014 – updated details and PVs follow.
Also featured on the single is track Namida ga Kierunara that’s been featured as ending theme for TBS TV series NEWS23 since March 31st 2014.
Ikimonogakari also recently announced their 29th single GOLDEN GIRL with tie-up as the theme song fro TBS TV drama Onna wa sore o Yurusanai. Single GOLDEN GIRL releases November 12th 2014 (more details coming).
The Seven Deadly Sins (七つの大罪, Nanatsu no Taizai) is adapted from manga by Suzuki Nakaba that started October 2012. Set in a time similar to the Middle Ages in Europe, it follows the story of a group of supposedly rebellious knights – The Seven Deadly Sins. But after the Holy Knights over take the kingdom it’s the Seven Deadly Sins that princess Elisabeth sets off on a journey to find and recruit to help her take back the kingdom.
The anime features Aoi Yuki (Diane), Amamiya Sora (Elizabeth), Suzuki Tatsuhisa (Ban) with music direction by Sawano Hiroyuki. It begins airing October 5th 2014 on MBS and TBS TV in Japan and outside of Japan (not official) Crunchyroll will simulcast.
The anime’s ending theme 7-seven- is a first time collaboration of rock bands FLOW x GRANRODEO (more details coming).
Single Netsujo no Spectrum / Namida ga Kierunara comes on one CD-only edition. First Press version includes Ikimono card 042 plus a jacket size anime themed sticker.
