KANJANI8 (関ジャニ∞) just released single Omoidama (オモイダマ ) with tie-up as the theme song for the Japan High School Baseball Championship 2014 (2014ABC) and TV Asahi program covering the games Netto Koshien (熱闘甲子園). Their 26th single also features high school wind-instrument musicians chosen by audition to participate on the single. Popular vocal group KANJANI8 recently announced their 4th single of 2014, ER2 credited to unit Eight Ranger and used as theme song for the second movie with group members staring as the fictional heroes Eight Ranger. The new movie Eight Ranger 2 premieres July 26th 2014 and single ER2 releases August 6th 2014 (more details coming).
Most recently KANJANI8 release 25th single King of Otoko! on February 19th 2014 which was the 3rd of their 3-month consecutive release plan. The single has tie-up as the theme song for movie The Mole Song: Undercover Agent Reiji (Mogura no Uta Sennyu Sosakan REIJI) (more details).
Single Omoidama comes on two editions. Both editions feature jacket covers shot at Hanshin Koshien Stadium (venue for the Baseball Championships). Regular edition adds 16-page lyrics booklet and bonus tracks. Selected stores offer a deluxe photo book bonus when purchasing both editions together (check your store).
